Dance Machines

DANCE MACHINES is a multiplayer Virtual Reality Dance Workshop for children aged 11+, investigating what the dance lessons of the future may look like. This is a research project led by Brazilian choreographer Regina Rossi alongside the Studio für Unendliche Möglichkeiten.

Jeffrey van der Geest worked on the development of the VR Application using Unreal Engine 4, Motion Capture and multiple HTC Focus 3 headsets.

This piece premiered at Kampnagel/K3 in Hamburg in June 2022 and at THINK BIG! in Munich in July of 2022 and continues to be shown across schools in Germany.
