Neue Stimmen

NEUE STIMMEN is a VR opera developed with Studio für Unendliche Möglichkeiten and Staatstheater Augsburg. Using motion capture and vocal recordings, it transforms traditional opera into an immersive virtual experience.

Jeffrey van der Geest led creative and technical development, creating avatars, overseeing motion capture performances and recording sessions and shaping the narrative structure. The piece premiered at Staatstheater Augsburg in 2024.
